Dear Edgewood Lions:
I'd like to thank everyone who came out for the Naylor Winery event in August. I wasn't able to ride out on the bus, but heard everyone had a good time with Lion Mary leading the sing-a-long. The food was good, the band was better and all had a good time.
I'd also loke to ask everyone to consider going on a Lions Club visit. Lions Frank, Rosemarie, and Chuck have already signed up to attend another club's meeting. If you would like to go, pick a club and I will drive unless you want to carpool with someone else.
Keep in mind the leadership opportunities and Conferences available to everyone in the club. Lions Frank and Rosemarie will be attending the USA/Canada Forum in Milwaukee, WI in September 2010 and Lions Doug and Lori Eck will be attending the Lions Camp Merrick in October. Please think about going to Emmitsburg for leadership training in Feburary 2011. Let me know if you are interested. Also, think about next year's District 22-A Convention to be held in Salisbury in May 2011 and the International Convention will be in the USA next year in Seattle, WA.
