Welcome to new member Lion Paul Metzger! Lion Paul has
visited our club many times as a guest speaker. We look
forward to getting to know Lion Paul (even better) along
with his wife, Sally.
The guests at the April 25th Dinner Meeting were Lions
Owen Landis and Dan Scott. Take note that the District
Social will be in November this year in order to avoid
issues of snow and ice. Please mark November 12th on
your calendar. It will be held at the Towson Sheraton and
The Oracle Band will return for entertainment.
Lion Dale Strait from the Severn River Lions Club will be
our guest on May 23rd; he will talk about LASH. Tyler Pruitt
will be our guest speaker on June 13th; he is with CASA of
Harford County. Stacy Beard will be our guest speaker on
June 27th she is with SARC.
The Edgewood/Joppatown Parade will take place on July
2nd in Edgewood (wear your Lions Club shirt).
PDG Doug Patterson, King Lion Tom and Lion Sonia
Hammen voted on behalf of the club at the Multiple District
22-A Convention. All proposed constitution and by-laws
changes were passed . Lion Owen Landis will be the
District Governor, Lion Skip Hoffman will be the 1st VDG
and Lion Dan Scott will be the 2nd VDG.
