The past Lions year went by with lightning speed. I enjoyed
being your King Lion during this time. I reflect back with pride
and an incredible sense of accomplishment of what our club has
achieved, as we have in years past. Christmas baskets,
eyeglasses, donations to the various LCI functions, as well as to
local organizations, and the lists go on. Needless to say, we did
face many challenges, but we have come a long way, we have
been through a lot together and we got a lot done. I am proud of
what we have been able to do for the Edgewood Community and
I want to personally thank every one of you!
As we prepare for a new year, I offer my sincere congratulations
and appreciation to Lion Chuck Egender for stepping up to the
plate to be your King Lion for Lions year 2011 – 2012, as well as
the Club’s Treasurer and to all the Lions who have stepped up to
be part of the leadership of the Edgewood Lions Club.
June marks closure for me, and a new beginning for others. It has
been my pleasure to serve you (again). I thank you so much. If I
can be of service to any of you, please call; I’ll be there.
