Edgewood Lions News
13
I thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve as
your President for the coming year. I plan to build on
the successes of those who have gone before me.
District Governor Owen Landis has laid down a
challenge for all the clubs in District 22-A. He wants a
net increase for the District of 120 Lions by the end of his
term. That means we all will have to work hard to bring
in new active Lions. Fortunately for us, the District
Membership Chair is also our Membership Chair,
Immediate Past President Tom Hammen.

The new committee assignments are in this issue of the
newsletter. I have combined a couple of committees and
added some Lions to others. I assigned some of our
newer members to committees with the idea that they
will learn the function of that committee and (hopefully)
assume the duties in the future, giving those
long-serving Lions a break.

Let us move forward and continue to serve our
community of Edgewood as well as our larger
community of Harford County in the coming year.

Yours in Lionism,
King Lion Chuck Egender
